Our first-ever winter trip to Vermont was one we’ll never forget! We experienced skiing and snowboarding for the very first time together as a family, and it was full of learning, laughter, and adventure. We stayed at Smugglers’ Notch Resort in a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment for the week, which made it perfect for a family stay. The instructors were amazing and so patient as we tried out on-slope activities we had never done before. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, the whole experience was incredible—the mountain views and nature were breathtaking, and the hiking trails were beautiful even in winter. The FunZone was a big hit for the kids, and getting around the resort was easy thanks to the Smuggs Go app. We also enjoyed snow tubing and other family activities. Along the way, we met another wonderful family and even connected with several Jamaican staff members working at the resort—plus, hearing Jamaican music playing near the magic carpets added a vibe! Overall, it was a memorable first winter adventure that we’ll always cherish.
