The Mascot Dash returns to Burlington this Saturday, and it might be the most entertaining 90 seconds in Vermont sports. Part race, part comedy show, the event brings together mascots from across the state for a sprint full of awkward running, oversized personalities, and guaranteed chaos, all while supporting RunVermont youth programs and helping inspire the next generation of runners.
We’ll be rooting for hometown favorites Billy Bob Bear and Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate as they hit the course at Waterfront Park during the RunVermont Mini Marathon festivities.
Win or lose, there’s a very good chance somebody ends up running the wrong direction.

The Barn at Boyden Farm is turning into the dance floor this Saturday night with a night of 90s and 00s throwbacks, pizza, cocktails, and live music. The Barn Dance Party is for the 30+ crowd, so expect plenty of nostalgia, questionable dance moves, and someone confidently singing every word to a song they forgot existed.
