Here at Smuggs, we are doing the same. Summer facilities are starting to open, the mountainsides are bursting into bloom, and we are officially counting down to the beginning of summer programming on June 12. Until then, our team is hard at work getting everything ready for your arrival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mountainside Water Playground is now open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Guests of all ages can enjoy the lap pool, turtle slide, and the Giant River Rapid Ride (GRRR). Don\u2019t forget to bring your own towel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Village 9 Disc Golf Course, which weaves in and out of the Morse Mountain ski trails, is open daily from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. If you need discs, stop by 3 Mountain Outfitters for a complimentary loaner set. This is a particularly lovely place to take in a Vermont sunset. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our summer outdoor recreation areas are now open as well, including Woodland Mini Golf and giant chess near the <em>FunZone<\/em> (clubs and balls found inside the entrance to the <em>FunZone<\/em>. The basketball and volleyball courts, shuffleboard, the Gaga Ball pit, horseshoes, bocce, and cornhole, are all ready too. These areas are available daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. The <em>FunZone<\/em> is also currently open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 am &#8211; 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Farmers market season has officially begun too, with markets happening Sunday mornings in Stowe and Wednesday afternoons in Jeffersonville. Keep an eye out for the Smuggs Farmers Market returning at the start of summer programming, happening every Monday throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vermont State hiking trail system officially opens after Memorial Day, including the ever-popular Sterling Pond hike. Early season hikers should still expect trails to be saturated from winter snowmelt, so proper footwear is highly recommended. Surfaces may be more slippery and challenging than they will be later in the summer.
