Diarrhoea – It has been used to treat diarrhoea caused by Clostridium difficile. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – releases energy from carbohydrate in the diet, and maintains healthy skin, eyes and digestive tract. Niacin (Vitamin B3) – releases energy from carbohydrate, and helps to maintain healthy skin, digestive tract and nervous system. Properties

Brewers yeast contains many different vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The major vitamins are:- Vitamin B1 (thiamin) – releases energy from carbohydrate in the diet, and is important for the heart and nervous system. This richness makes flax seeds useful in treating infections and cancer. Two percent of the lignans in seeds end up in the oil, and the other 98% remain in the seed meal which gives the freshly ground flax seed some advantages over the oil. Flax is one of the best sources of alpha-linolenic acid, which converts in the body to the same heart-protective omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon, mackerel and sardines. Omega-3 fatty acids help to control arthritic inflammation and allergies, aid in digestion, eliminate dry skin, increase blood flow to tissues and add luster and shine to your pet's coat.
