Spring vibes

We have 3 more days left in the 2025 – 2026 season! On today’s menu was bright sunshine, mild temperatures, and spring conditions. My trail picks of the day were Snake Bite and Birch Run. Birch Run does not any rails, but there are still some jumps to play on. Tomorrow, we plan to have the Sterling Lift operating with 17 intermediate and expert trails. 9 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Black Snake, Birch Run, and Rumrunner for a total of 43 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and spring conditions, with average base depths of 12 to 52 inches. Currently, it is partly sunny and 45 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is partly sunny skies early, increasing clouds, a chance of a late-day shower, breezy southwest wind, a high of 55 degrees at the base and 50 degrees at higher elevations.
