Full Summer Programming Begins

Today marked the first day of full summer programming, and the Village had its pulse back. The pools were jumping, camp groups were out playing games, and the restaurants are now open. We are all really excited about a fun filled summer here at Smuggs!

This morning, we had our first chance to check out the newly remodeled Green Mountain Eatery, the new breakfast spot located on the top floor of the Village Lodge. It is open seven days a week from 8:00 to 10:00 am. I went with a breakfast classic: a bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. No frills, made to order in about three to five minutes, and definitely hit the spot.

Over at the Mountain Bike Center, we found our Employee Childcare crew using the Strider bikes, which have no pedals and no training wheels, helping riders develop balance. They were cruising around the bike park, riding over bridges and down dirt mounds. It was pretty hot, but they did not seem to mind one bit. They were having a blast. At Smuggs we know that the joy of riding on two wheels has no age brackets.

Our mountain bike facility is now open, with rentals and repairs available out of the shop Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

For those of you who did not visit us this winter, we now have an on-demand shuttle app that works similarly to Uber or Lyft. Download the app and request rides to and from locations throughout the Village.

Along with on-demand rides, we have two separate continuous loops. One accesses the Disc Golf Center, ArborTrek, Bootleggers, and the Welcome Sign. The other is a golf cart express route accessing Mountainside Water Playground, Courtside Pool, FunZone 2.0, and the Welcome Sign.

We also have four- and six-person golf carts available to rent.
