Good morning

We will have mild temperatures today, and then colder air returns tonight. Currently, it is 26 degrees at the summit of Madonna with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for a chance of rain and snow early, becoming all rain later, with little to no accumulation, breezy, with a high of 47 degrees at the base and 42 degrees at higher elevations. Some trails may have a delayed opening until they soften up. Today, we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including Madonna I. We plan to have 69 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 54 inches. Surface conditions will become spring conditions once things warm up a bit. 35 trails have been groomed for today, including Upper FIS, Thomke’s, Snake Bite, Log Jam, and Snow Snake for a total of 182 acres of freshly groomed terrain. We could see 1 to 2 inches of new snow tonight.
