Snow in the forecast

We could see 1 to 2 inches of new snow this afternoon, with another 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible tonight. My trail pick of the day was Goat Path. It was groomed last night, and it was skiing great. Tomorrow, we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating. One of our snow cats broke down last night and is on Catwalk. We plan to have it fixed early tomorrow morning and have the Madonna I Lift open at 10 am. We plan to have 62 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 35 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Upper FIS, Birch Run, Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, Snow Snake, and Hibernator for a total of 186 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 14 to 54 inches.
