April snow showers

We received an inch of new snow with more on the way. Today’s forecast is snow showers 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible, a high of 30 degrees at the base and 25 degrees at higher elevations. Currently, it is snowing hard and 24 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. We have the Sterling Lift operating with 11 trails open with terrain for experts and intermediates only. All 11 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 52 inches. Conditions are getting better as the day goes on! Get it while you can; closing day is Sunday, April 12th.
